1.3 Billion people are about to get real thirsty.

A recent report suggests that by 2035, glaciers in the Himalayas will be almost gone, and have already been shrinking at rates faster than glaciers in other parts of the world. These glaciers feed 7 of the largest rivers in Asia and India, providing water and irrigation for 1.3 billion people.

But that's not the only exciting part. Many UN reports in recent years have identified an upcoming water crisis in several parts of the world as the cause of new wars.

""Projected climate change will seriously exacerbate already marginal living standards in many Asian, African, and Middle Eastern nations, causing widespread political instability and the likelihood of failed states. ... The chaos that results can be an incubator of civil strife, genocide, and the growth of terrorism."
It's amazing to think about how quickly a couple of over populated countries will break down if you take away something as simple as water.
